Birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Martyrdom of Fatima al-Zahra (as)

After the Prophet's death, a group of up to 4000 men, led by Umar ibn Khattab, demanded Ali ibn Abi-Talib's allegiance to Abu Bakr at Fatima tuz Zahra's door. Ali, preparing the Qur'an, refused. They threatened to burn the house, set fire to the door, kicked it in, injuring Fatima—breaking her rib and causing miscarriage of Al-Muhassin. On her deathbed, Fatima requested a secret night burial attended by few loyal companions like Ali, al-Hassan, al-Husayn, Ammar bin Yasir, and Salman al-Muhammadi.
